My Story

  • Where can I buy tickets?
    Tickets are available for purchase online at houseofindependents.com, by phone, or in person at our box office located at Rebel Supply Co. (550 Cookman Ave. #107 Asbury Park, New Jersey 07712). Standard hours are: Tuesday – Sunday, 11AM to 9PM. Will call available @ venue day of show, after doors. How can I make a bulk ticket purchase? Email info@houseofindependents.com for all bulk ticket inquiries.
  • Can I rent House of Independents for a private party or special event?
    House of Independents would love to party with you for your Wedding, Sweet 16, Bar or Bat Mitzvah, Grandma’s 80th Birthday Party, Corporate Event, or whatever other special event in your life that you feel requires a celebration – please email booking@houseofindependents.com for pricing and availability.
  • I purchased tickets for a show and can no longer make it. Can I get a refund?
    All House of Independents ticket purchases are non-refundable unless there is cancellation. If you have any further questions, please reach out to the outlet from which you purchased tickets (ETIX).
  • I purchased tickets for a show but can no longer attend, and would like to transfer them to my friend. How can I do this?
    House of Independents cannot facilitate ticket transfers. Please reach out to the outlet from which you purchased your tickets for information regarding their ticket transfer policies.
  • Will tickets be available at the door on the day of the show?
    Tickets are not guaranteed to be available at the door. It is always recommended to purchase them in advance.
  • Do you offer medically accessible seating?
    Our venue has ADA accessible seating that is available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Please contact info@houseofindependents.com for inquiries in advance of your show date so that we can do our best to accommodate you.
  • Are there assigned seats at House of Independents?
    All of our general admission shows are standing room only. For seated events, all seating is first-come, first-serve unless otherwise stated.
  • Is there an age restriction at House of Independents?
    Age restriction varies by event. Please visit our events tab on our website to check out show-specific info on age restrictions.
  • Is there a coat check?
    We have a venue coat check available during the winter months.
  • My favorite band is coming to play at House of Independents. How can I get a photo pass?
    All media/publicity requests for credentials must be processed through the artist’s team. House of Independents cannot issue photo passes.
  • Can I bring my camera to a show at House of Independents?
    Point-and-shoot cameras are permitted at House of Independents – no cameras with detachable lenses are permitted without a photo pass. We do not have a photo pit at HOI.
  • Can I bring my own food/beverages?
    No outside food or beverages are permitted into the venue.
  • Wow, House of Independents. You really do book all of the coolest concerts and events. How can I make sure I stay up-to-date on all of your upcoming events?
